Sri Lankaramaya
Sri Lankaramaya is approaching another key milestone, the 10th Anniversary, in its journey. A series of religious activities are being planned to celebrate this major event in May and June.
NZSLBT has changed from its traditional calendar, instead published a Year Planner for 2009 to help you to plan and attend activities of Sri Lankaramaya. Please make sure you collect your copy if you haven’t done already
Sri Lankaramaya new web site was launched with the dawn of the New Year after mid night on 31 December 2008, in the surrounds of Pirith Chanting. The NZSLBT acknowledges and thank all those who worked so hard to make it a reality. Our special thanks are due to Thusantha De Silva who designed and developed the web site in its current shape. We also acknowledge Sumith Meegama who initiated the web design in 2007. Your valuable suggestions and comments are welcome for continuous improvement of the website. Please send your comments through email nzslbt@gmail.com.
If you want to commemorate or celebrate an event very close to your family by giving “danaya” to sil observers on the Sil Day or Meditation Day, please contact Nayaka Thero on Tel 2702898 or Nanda Gunawardana on 8353850. You can offer danaya to our resident monks on monthly basis. Please discuss with the Nayaka Thero.
